Local school sing carols to Priorslee ResidentsIt was a delight to welcome children from the Priorslee Academy School who came specially to sing carols Residents at Priorslee care home, in Telford.

Thirteen children were accompanied by class teacher, Mrs Bailey and neighbour Carol, from Stone Bed and Breakfast, who give local support to the school.

Everyone was involved in the home in some way to make sure the visit was a successful one.

Christmas decorations were put up and Colleague Kevin made drinks and biscuits for the children, which they took away with them.

Everyone, including Dorothy, Sue, Donna, Anita, Jess, Shannon, Kevin and Nina, enjoyed seeing the children singing their hearts and out and the jokes they shared.

Resident Dorothy was joined by her daughter, and said it felt very festive. She commented, “Great to meet with the children, they were very entertaining!”

Anita Horton, Care Home Manager, said, "It was so nice to connect with the local community and the school have invited Dorothy back for an assembly next year."
