June Taylor, a Resident at
Colton Lodges, residential, nursing and memory care home, in Leeds, has been thinking about her children who have all grown up.
June sometimes feels upset now that her children are all grown up, and she still has so much love she needs to share.
Wellbeing Coordinator, Lois Campbell, had a great idea to introduce June to a therapy doll, so June can love and care for the doll like she would her own child.
June has such a motherly nature, so the therapy doll is the perfect way for June to express all her love.
Since receiving the doll, June has been over the moon! She cherishes the doll.
Lois, remarked, “It really was a precious moment for June.”
Danielle Longthorn, Care Home Manager, commented, “It’s lovely isn’t it? Love and care, that’s all you need.”
