Residents at HC-One,
Woodside Court, nursing and nursing memory care home, in Fife, have been spreading love around the home.
“We will never comprehend the love between a parent and a child. It is truly the case and once a parent always a parent, the love never goes it grows,” remarked by the Residents.
In the memory care unit, Woodlands Unit, a sensory afternoon was held with sensory baby Elizabeth. Residents, Phyllis Lawson, Ina Chalmers, Anne Kinloch and Ruth Hutchinson, were so excited to meet baby Elizabeth.
From the photo, it can be seen the Residents showed love and empathy towards the doll.
There were lots of cuddles and kisses given and the Residents were smiling from ear to ear.
Some of the Residents involved, commented, “You are so beautiful. Let’s have a hug.”
Alana, Wellbeing Coordinator, remarked, “It was beautiful and emotional to see!”
