Residents from
Sandon care home in Tameside, Greater Manchester, went for a special Christmas lunch to get into the Christmas spirit.
Three Residents enjoyed their Christmas lunch on the 6th of December, at the local Luncheon Club at George Lawton Hall.
The Residents enjoyed a three-course meal starting with melon followed by a turkey dinner with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding for dessert.
The tables were decorated beautifully for the occasion, and everyone commented on the festive decorations!
There was a raffle for people to win prizes and Madge won a beautiful flower decoration for her room. Madge, commented, “What a wonderful afternoon, I’ve had such a lovely time!”
Lynne Campbell, Care Home Manager, added, “The Residents really enjoyed their Christmas lunch and were so happy when Madge won her prize in the raffle!”
