Macmillan head shaving at Grosvenor ParkToday at Grosvenor Park in Sussex, which provides nursing and residential care, a couple of Residents have taken part in a Macmillan head shave event.

Over the past couple of days at Grosvenor Park, Residents and Colleagues have been getting into the Macmillan fundraising spirit. Cupcakes have been baked, a tombola event has been organised with some amazing prizes up for grabs and two brave Residents have taken part in a head shaving event.

Bridgit and Steve, two Residents at Grosvenor Park (shown in the photo above) both stepped up to have their head shaved. Many of the Residents came down to the main room and cheered them on and praised their bravery for doing it. One Resident commented “Oh my goodness! They shaved their head!” and another said, “I love cupcakes, it was so fun getting involved with the fundraising. Bravo to Steve and Bridgit”.

Overall, the event seems to have gone down very well with everybody. A good amount of money had been raised for them, and it also lifted everybody’s spirit.

Jackie, the Home Manager commented afterwards “It was so nice to see Steve and Bridget so excited to raise money for such an amazing cause”.
