HC-One’s Greenacres Care Home, in Meltham, hosted a spectacular fashion show to bring together residents, colleagues, families, and the wider community for an unforgettable evening in aid of Kirkwood Hospice.
Organised by Greenacres Lifestyle Manager Claire Wilson, the event showcased stunning outfits, delicious nibbles, wine, and soft drinks. The event, supported by local business Chain Reaxtion from Honley, created a vibrant atmosphere filled with joy and connection.
The event raised £160 through ticket sales and a tombola that will be donated to Kirkwood Hospice, Greenacres’ chosen charity for 2025. A highlight of the evening was the heartwarming moment when two glamorous residents took to the catwalk, captivating the audience with their confidence and style.
Claire Wilson, HC-One’s Greenacres Care Home Lifestyle Manager, said:
“The fashion show was a true celebration of our community spirit. Seeing our residents shine on the catwalk and everyone coming together to support such a worthy cause was truly special.
