Milton Keynes care home Residents enjoys shopping trip and makeoverAnita Pope a Resident at Highclere, residential, nursing and residential dementia care home in Milton Keynes had one of her wishes come true when she took a visit out to the local shopping centre.

One of the Residents Anita Pope wished she could go on a shopping trip, so Colleagues took her out for a well needed day of retail therapy.

When she was looking around in Marks and Spencer’s, a Clinique makeup stand caught her eye. The lovely lady working on the stand gave her a fabulous makeover. She applied foundation to suit Anita's skin and then applied eyeshadow to make her eyes sparkle.

Anita was so pleased with the result, the before and after pictures says it all with the beautiful smile on her face.
When Anita returned to the home all the Residents were complementing her on how nice her makeup was. One Resident, said, “Anita was over the moon with her new makeup, she told me she felt like a new woman.”

It was a great day out and Colleague are happy they were able to make another wish come true at Highclere.

Gigi Jacob, Care Home Manager, commented, “We are always striving to make the wishes of the Residents come true. Anita had a lovely day out and that is all I could wish for!”
