Colleagues at Northwich’s residential and residential memory care home,
Avandale Lodge, tried Morris dancing for the first time and what fun was had!
Residents who chose not to participate enjoyed watching Colleagues and Residents joining in and waving handkerchiefs. Some Residents wrapped them around their heads like scarves (see pictured).
Resident Hedley, while dancing, said, “I don’t usually do these things.” But certainly enjoyed the music and Morris dancing tunes.
Betty added, “Oh this is fun!”
Wellbeing Coordinator, Rachael, commented, “It was good to see our Residents try something new!”
And fellow Colleague Lyn Bennett, added, “What a wonderful atmosphere it was!”
