Colleagues and Residents at
Sandon House care home, in Mossley, Tameside, have been gifted a fantastic selection of items from a local business and everyone is over the moon with the donation.
The local estate agent in Mossley, called Ryder & Dutton, kindly donated a selection of puzzle books, colouring books, pens and pencils to the 42-bed residential and residential dementia care home, which was bought with donations from their own community fund.
The books are now kept in a basket in the lounge so the Residents can use them at their convenience, and it has proven to be very popular so far. The other items will be used for activities which take place as part of the weekly enhanced wellbeing programme offered at the home.
Wellbeing Coordinator Louise remarked, “The support we have from our community is amazing. Thank you so much!”
