Mothers Day visits in the local communityAt HC-One’s Priory Gardens, residential, nursing and residential dementia care home, in Pontefract, have once again been spreading some love in the local community.

Wellbeing Coordinator, Karen Weaver and Housekeeper, Mich Haigh, have been very busy to ensure people in the local community have a little love this Mothers Day.

Both Colleagues visited the local community on Friday and delivered sweet treats to celebrate Mothering Sunday.

The ladies of Gemini Court loved receiving the gifts and thanked the team for their kindness. One gentleman said, “I will pass this gift onto my 99 year old mother!”

People in the local community were so happy Priory Gardens thought of them on this special day. A lovely comment which they received, stated, ‘Lovely to receive a surprised gift we remember you both from the Valentines Day visit.”

Priory Gardens are always keen to build relationships with the local community, and it is great to see!

Allison Gill, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It is lovely to build relationships with people in the community, and the staff are in such high spirits for special occasions.”
