Newlands care home diversity boardColleagues at Heaton Moor care home, Newlands, which offers residential and nursing care, have set up a diversity board in the home. 

Colleagues and Residents can use the board celebrated anything happening in the world and so far, they have celebrated Eid, Shevat, endangered species’ day and currently it is Africa day.

Rebecca Murphy, Care Home Manager, said, “We want all staff and Residents to know that we respect, love and celebrate with everyone. It’s a small gesture but made with love and care.”

“It has been very successful so far, and everyone has shown interest and enjoying the idea.”
