Fosse Way View care home in Bingham, Nottingham – part of HC-One, the kind care company, is celebrating its recent report from Care Quality Commission (CQC) which rated the home ‘good’ in all areas.
The team at Fosse Way View were delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as ‘Good’ in all areas, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for residents, and is safe, responsible, and well-led.
The inspectors were full of praise for colleagues at Fosse Way View, highlighting the kind ways in which they provide care for Residents at the home. This sentiment was echoed by residents and relatives who told the inspectors that the whole management team was approachable, friendly, and helpful.
One relative who CQC had spoken to commented: "
When we return to the home following a day out my [relative] is full of smiles and receives such a warm welcome.” Another Relative who was spoken to mentioned how Colleagues supported their loved one to access the community and took them to places to see older buildings that had meaning, they went on to say
“"It means everything that they take the time to do this." CQC also highlighted the feedback Fosse Way View can provide Relatives and Residents upon request, with one Relative going on to say, “
I am always asked for my feedback, I got a survey too, I have never needed to complain and I’m not sure how they could improve on this, its just so good”.
Inspectors also commented on how Relatives diverse needs and cultural beliefs had been discussed with them before the commencement of their care package. Colleagues at the home are passionate about inclusivity for all living at Fosse Way View, which creates a positive culture which centres around supporting people to achieve anything they aspired to. Care records also contain detailed information about the Residents life history, likes and dislikes which enabled Colleagues to provide person-centred care.
Located on Grantham Road, Fosse Way View offers short- and long-term care packages for older ladies and gentlemen in Nottingham, that require residential or residential dementia care. The home is also proud to have a 9.9/10 average user rating on the sector leading comparison website, carehome.co.uk. Care home staff and Residents had been celebrating their one-year anniversary since opening in June, which included a visit from the Mayor who attended their BBQ and live entertainment.
