Nottingham Residents create harvest festival scarecrowResidents and Colleagues at HC One’s Court House care home have been preparing for the harvest festival.

The Residents at the Nottingham care home spent last week making their own banner to be displayed and their own scarecrow too.

During the week wellbeing coordinator Kerry made a homemade winter soup. As she cut, sliced and diced the veg, Residents told stories of their childhood memories of Harvest festivals gone by.

Unfortunately this year the local Church were unable to visit, however the Residents still sang their favourite pieces of music with the staff and had great fun with Worzel the scarecrow.

Kerry made sure the Resident had copies of their favourite hymns to sing. The Residents really enjoyed the soup too.

The event was much smaller this year but it had the same amount of enthusiasm of Harvest festivals of the last few years.
