Oakhill House go to MexicoHC-One’s Oakhill House care home enjoyed a themed afternoon as they went to ‘Mexico’ for the day.

The lounge was decorated with Mexican decorations – flags, pictures and banners – as Residents played a Mexican wordsearch and other trivia games, discussing their holidays they have been on.

Residents wore sombreros and garlands, shaking maracas to Mexican music before watching Mexican videos and looking through pictures of the beautiful country, some remarking how they would love to go.

The afternoon ended with some relaxing colouring as Residents enjoyed some refreshments.

Oakhill House Home Manager remarked: “We have had a lovely day today, Mexico would be a wonderful place to visit!”
