This month at
Maple Lodge in Staffordshire, which provides residential dementia care, Residents have been making poppies in preparation for Remembrance Sunday.
To celebrate and pay their respects for the upcoming Remembrance Day, Residents have been making some poppies and also a small display.
Some poppies were coloured in, and others made with red tissue paper. All the Residents were happy to get involved and enjoyed making their own poppies. One Resident went on to say, “I love Remembrance Day and making poppies, its for a good cause”.
Sarah, the Home Manager said, “It was lovely to see all of the Residents taking part in something they are so passionate about”.
