Rainy day activities at Surrey care homeToday at Fieldway in Mitcham, which provides nursing, residential and residential dementia care, Residents have been getting warm in the living room and colouring in.

Now with the weather during gloomy and the rain has started coming down, Residents have been getting snug in the lounge and doing some colouring in. There was an assortment of different wellie boots and flowers to choose from, which were coloured in, and some small unique flower arrangements were created.

Tea was also on offer when this was happening, with Residents reminiscing on their life and also talking about rainy days. One Resident said, “I love sitting in front a fire with a cup of tea on days like this”. Maureen, another Resident commented “This is really fun, I haven’t done anything like this in a while”.

Dahlia, the Home Manager said afterwards “They look like they are all having fun, staying warm inside and chatting away”.
