Colleagues and Residents at HC-One’s
Meadow Bank care home, in Preston, enjoyed a variety of cakes, biscuits and treats, all to raise money for Macmillan’s largest coffee morning.
Wellbeing Coordinators of the 110-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home, Dawn Ward and Kerry Horrocks (pictured) organised football cards and finding games alongside the array of different treats that were available.
Everyone thought that the cakes were delicious and loved coming together to play the games!
In total the home raised just over £150 and one of the Residents, Joyce (pictured) was a lucky winner of one of the games and received a prize of £25. She was over the moon when she won and said, “I never normally win anything!”
Melanie Matthews, Receptionist, commented, “Kerry and Dawn did an amazing job well done. It was lovely to see everyone coming together and raising money for an amazing cause.”
