Residents at HC-One’s The Red House Care Home in Ramsey, Huntingdon, enjoyed an afternoon in the garden as they embraced the wonderful summer weather this week.
Some Residents made the most of the sunshine as they sat in the garden chairs, whilst others enjoyed a spot of weeding with Colleagues at the home. Relaxing music played by the pond as Residents basked in the beautiful weather, indulging in a delicious ice cream each to cool them off.
Everyone at the home are also working together to plan and create an area in the garden specifically for the bees and other wildlife to enjoy, with members of the local community kindly donating towards the garden.
Keith Ware, Home Manager, commented: “It’s so lovely that we have such warm weather at the moment, the Residents really enjoy making the most of the weather and spending the day in the garden.”
