Recent fun at Scone care homeResidents at Catmoor House, care home in Scone have been getting up to lots of fun in the past week.

On the 31st of October, a special concert took place at the 40-bed nursing and nursing dementia care home.

Local singer Michael Ellacott came along to Catmoor House for a fantastic singing and keyboard performance. Michael performed an array of songs, and the Residents loved it.

Residents chatted to Michael about his keyboard in between songs.

The Residents had a wonderful afternoon, surrounded by their families and Colleagues. One Resident, commented, “Wow, what a wonderful afternoon!”
Another Resident, said, “Michael is great. I love his charm and his voice.”

Then, on the 5th November, a fireworks evening was held at the care home.

Families, Residents and Colleagues were invited to enjoy a lovely buffet and hot drinks whilst watching the fireworks show. The Residents loved seeing all the fireworks illuminate the sky – it was beautiful.

Doreen, a Resident at the home, said, “The fireworks are so beautiful!”

Claire Innes, Care Home Manager, remarked, “The Residents and their families had such a lovely evening watching the fireworks. It was a great night had by all.”
