Resident Artist at County Homes shows his talentAt County Homes care home, in Woodchurch, Birkenhead, the wellbeing programme is designed for Residents to not only have the opportunity to pick up new hobbies, but also continue with any existing ones, and that’s exactly what one Resident has been doing.

Bobby Topham (pictured) who lives at the 82-bed nursing dementia care home, regularly likes to join in with the creative sessions as part of the wellbeing programme as he is an Artist and Illustrator and used to have his own company.

When he joins in the sessions, Bobby uses glass markers, fabric markers and acrylics, to create beautiful drawings and designed. He loves the time he has doing any kind of art at the home and likes to use all kinds of materials to express himself as an artist.

Many of the other Residents comment on how “lovely” his art is.

Debby Jamieson, Care Home Manager, said, “His talent really shows through in what Bobby creates, it’s wonderful to see.”
