Residents at The Orchard in Alloa which offers nursing and nursing memory care for those living with dementia, enjoyed making pizzas and tasting all the different kinds of toppings and got a taste of Italy as in Naples that was where pizzas were invented.
Some of the Residents enjoyed peeling the vegetables which then got the conversation started about when they used to peel veg for their soup for their families to eat.
It was great atmosphere to hear all the different stories and memories.
Fiona Johnstone, Care Home Manager said, “It was great to see the Residents sharing stories and bringing there cooking skills to their daily living”.
