Residents at Eastrea care home delighted with visit from four-legged friendThere was huge excitement at The Gables care home, in Eastrea, Whittlesey, when Residents were visited by a four-legged friend on 7th March.

At the 55-bed nursing and nursing dementia care home, Deputy Manager, Polly McLellan, organised for a two week old lamb called Jen, to meet some of the Colleagues and Residents, and there were smiles all around.

Residents and Colleagues, including Margaret, Burt and June (all pictured) loved meeting Jen, with many giving cuddles and kisses; everyone had their moment with the little lamb.

Elena Agu, who is a receptionist at The Gables, commented, “Everyone’s face just lit up seeing the cute little lamb and I was very pleased that she came to visit. Hopefully we can welcome her back soon as the Residents were overjoyed."
