Residents are enjoying a delicious pie washed down with a pint this afternoon at HC-One’s Westwood Lodge care home in Greater Manchester.
Each month the home hosts a trolley full of meat pies from Whittles Pies in Wigan.
Residents can then choose their beverage of choice to enjoy their afternoon treat.
Mavis Farrell, a Resident at Westwood Lodge, commented: “The pies are lovely. I look forward to them every month.”
Residents look forward to the day each month, with many Residents commenting on how delicious the pies always are but that their pint of beer or lager is even better.
