There was a flurry of snow yesterday at HC-One’s Springwater Lodge care home in Calerton.
Residents enjoyed watching the world outside turn a crisp white, but one Resident in particular was very excited over the new frost.
David wanted to play in the snow but due to the freezing temperatures and slippery pavements outside, Colleagues at the Springwater Lodge had a better idea.
They brought a tray of snow inside for David so he could enjoy it from the comfort and warmth of the home.
David said: “Snow is good to play with inside without getting cold.”
An uplifting mood filled the home as Residents and Colleagues saw the joy on David’s face.
Springwater Lodge Colleague, Megan Ford, commented: “It was great to see David so happy.”
