Residents experience ‘Bush Tucker Trials’ at Windsor Court!Residents and staff at Windsor Court in Goole which offers residential, nursing and residential memory care, for those living with dementia, enjoyed the end of summer by celebrating it with an Australian themed party.
Fancy dress was optional but everyone at the home got involved from wellbeing, care, laundry and housekeeping.

The kitchen staff made amazing barbeque style food from burgers, hotdogs, Chinese pork, chips and all the trimmings.

Residents also took part in a Windsor Court "Bush Tucker Trial" which consists of a mixture of plain and sour sweet worms!  The Residents put their hand in and chose a random one, and that was the challenge whether you picked either a sweet or sour worm!

The home’s regular entertainer Denise visited for the first time in a long time and the Residents enjoyed music from the fifties to the seventies.

Residents Brenda and Carol commented, “I had a brilliant time" and “It is the best day we have had in ages".
Pam, Quality Director remarked, “Today was excellent”.

Karen Stewart, Care Home Manager said, “Everyone had such a lovely time, the sun was out and it was amazing to see both Residents and staff enjoying themselves”.
