Residents make bird feed at Kent care homeResidents were keen to make fat balls for their feathered friends today at HC-One’s Priory Mews care home in Dartford.

With the cold weather lately, some Residents have been concerned that the local birds might not have enough food and took it upon themselves to help them out and make some feeders.

The Wellbeing team at the home rose to the challenge and found a great fat ball recipe.

It was especially nice to see so many Residents taking part, particularly a lovely lady who is registered as blind.

She commented: “It was a lovely day.”

The fat balls turned out great and the local birds will certainly be well fed.

Priory Mews Home Manager, Rose Akem, commented: “The Wellbeing team have done a great job, thank you.”
