Richmond House’s 5-star food inspection celebrated in Nutrition and Hydration WeekThe whole of Richmond House care home, in Leigh, Lancashire, has been celebrating receiving the top rating during the latest ‘Kitchen Environmental Health Inspection’ this month, just in time for Nutrition and Hydration Week.

Head Chef Flo Caliwan (pictured) and kitchen Colleagues Lesley Ann Salt, Janet Cooke, Amanda Walker and Ebony Gater, all put so much love into their job and, unsurprisingly, received a 5-star rating from the inspectors this month. 

Food is always one of the top priorities at the home, and Residents often comment on the delicious selection of food available. 

One of the Residents at the 49-bed nursing care home, commented, “The kitchen staff are brilliant, all the food is lovely.”

Sonia Walshaw, Wellbeing Coordinator, said, “Well done to all the kitchen staff, we are so proud!” 
“All of our staff at Richmond House are so happy for the Chefs and Kitchen Assistants as we have seen the hard work and determination, they have put in.”
