Residents at
Rievaulx House, residential care home, in Leeds, have received some lovely Easter treats!
Lauren Jennison, Senior Care Assistant and Dee Parker, Care Assistant wanted the Residents to have an Easter to remember! They both reached out to the local community for donations of Easter Eggs. They spent their own time contacting people in the local community!
Lauren and Dee were shocked to see all the donations. They received 50 eggs from a local charity which supports the home, 30 eggs from the local Nisa Shop and £40 from a member of the local community for some lovely treats for the Residents.
Easter activities, headbands and hats were delivered too the home and the staff also donated some eggs for the Residents too!
Lauren and Dee, remarked, “It is lovely that everyone can come together for the Residents.”
Samantha Foster, Care Home Manager, commented, “I’m very proud of staff taking the time to ensure all the Residents have a lovely Easter and Easter Egg each. Go team Rievaulx!!!”
