Residents, Relatives and Colleagues at
Avon Court care home, in Chippenham, Wiltshire, attended the annual Christmas party on 20th December, and what a blast everyone had!
Lyn Neate and Leila Garraway, both Wellbeing Coordinators at the 56-bed residential, nursing and nursing dementia care home, organised Bob from R.C Entertainments to come in dressed as Santa Clause and sing for Residents. Mayor Liz Alstrom was also in attendance and was presented with some flowers from the home. She is a regular visitor of the home, having attended for Care Home Open Week, back in the summer.
Ann Fernandez, who is a family member of one of the Residents, commented, “What a great afternoon!”
Simon Allen, who lives at Avon Court, said, “I had a brilliant afternoon.”
Both Lyn and Leila remarked, “It was good to see lots of Residents and Colleagues smiling all afternoon!”
