Sheffield care home enjoy Elf day as festivities begin

Residents at HC-One’s Swallownest care home in Sheffield, recently enjoyed an ‘Elf’ day as the festivities begin at the home.

Residents were treated to a lovely surprise, as Colleagues organised an elf day to kick start this year’s festivities. The elf day created a lot of fun and laughter in the home, with Residents and Colleagues alike dressing up in elf costumes and getting their photo took with a giant elf cut out.

Swallownest Resident, Chris, said: “The big cardboard cut-out of elf is brilliant.”

Glynis, the home administrator, posed with the big cut out, as did Residents Chris and Peggy who donned their elf hats and enjoyed a little dance to some classic Christmas songs.

Amanda Fields, Swallownest Home Manager said: “So much fun and laughter was had in our home today. There was Christmas music playing and it definitely got us all feeling festive.”
