At HC-One’s
Chandlers Ford care home, in Eastleigh, which offers residential and nursing care, the sunshine was out for Spring Equinox, so several Residents made the most of the sunny afternoon.
To celebrate the Spring Equinox, Wellbeing Coordinator Siobhan, arranged for a tea party in the garden, which is currently surrounded by the beautiful spring flowers, expertly curated by one of the home’s Trinity Flats Residents. The sweet smells of hyacinths, daffodils and pretty colours of primroses surrounded Residents Diane, Agnes, Pam, Christine and Madelin as they enjoyed the fresh air and chatting with each other about the sweet-smelling flowers, fresh air and good company.
Pam commented, “It is so wonderful to get outside in the sunshine and I love the flowers.”
Lucy Hilferty, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It was heartening to see the Residents enjoy our beautiful patio garden in the sun and fresh breeze. We look forward to many more events.”
