St Patricks Day celebrations at Park House care homeResidents, Relatives and Colleagues at HC-One’s Park House care home in Guisborough enjoyed a fantastic performance and party for St Patricks Day on Friday 17th March.

Janie St John, a fantastic entertainer came along to the 56-bed residential and residential dementia care home to perform for all the Residents and their families.

She sang a huge range of songs including Irish ditties which many of the Residents were familiar with.

The Residents were singing and clapping along to the music whilst some played percussion instruments to the lively songs.

To get into the real St Patricks Day spirit, both Residents and Colleagues wore St Patricks Day hats and green accessories which looked fantastic.

Light refreshments were served throughout the performance, and some enjoyed a refreshing glass of Guinness. The Kitchen Team did everyone proud as they made lots of delicious food including traditional Irish soda bread and black velvet cakes which were oozing with a chocolatey warm Guinness centre. Everyone really enjoyed the food.

Julie Woods, Care Home Manager, remarked, “Everyone involved had a good time and Janie St John was amazing.”
