An entertainer was welcomed back this month to HC-One’s
Stamford Court nursing care home, in Stalybridge, and there were lots of smiles and laughter all around!
After months of being unable, due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the home has been finally been able to welcome back an entertainer (which is a favourite of many of the Residents!)
Entertainer Beryl hosts exercise and dance routines, with all sorts of props and games involved. She plays all the classic songs and Residents love to sing and dance along.
It was a beautiful day with the sun shining and no clouds in the sky, therefore Residents could sit out on the decking for this activity, instead of in the lounge like they used to do before.
"Oh, I do love this song" one Resident commented.
Another Resident added, “What a lovely day for it!”
Sue Jackson, Registered Home Manager, commented, "It's great to have Beryl back with us!"
