Today Residents and Colleagues at The Beeches residential care home, in Dukinfield, took advantage of the sunshine and being able to take short walks outside the home.
Wellbeing Coordinator, Sade, took a few Residents out for a walk to enjoy the much-needed fresh air and some sunshine.
Everyone including Phyllis, Gladys, Nellie and Doreen, enjoyed being out properly for the first time and listening to the birds while watching people go by.
Gladys remarked, “It’s been lovely to get out and have fresh air I really enjoyed it.”
Fellow Resident Doreen added, “It was just what I needed today, the fresh air has done me good.”
Sade commented, “It has been lovely to get the Residents out and about, even if it is just for a short walk.”
“I have enjoyed taking the Residents out for a short walk near the home; after so long, it’s nice to get back to some normality. Seeing the Residents smile is the best part of the job!”
