Colleagues at HC-One’s Greatwood House care home in Denton, Greater Manchester have been working hard to organise a newsletter so that they can keep Residents’ loved ones up to date with the latest news in the home.
The Wellbeing Coordinators and Home Administrators have worked very closely with the Residents at the home to get their input and consent on what messages they want to send out to their families.
Eve, a Resident at the home said: “It’s nice having a say in what goes in the newsletter. There’s a lovely picture of me enjoying my birthday.”
The newsletter is a great way for Colleagues and Residents at the home to communicate with Relatives during these strange and unusual times. Their first newsletter has now been sent out and they hope to put together another one very soon.
Greatwood Hosue Wellbeing Coordinator, Donna Wagstaff, commented: “I’m very excited to have our first newsletter! It wasn’t as daunting as I thought it would be.”
