At
Holme Lea residential and residential memory care home, in Stalybridge, everyone has been taking advantage of the good weather by spending some time in the garden.
Residents have been enjoying the garden, which has been a focus for the home to improve on. An appeal was recently sent out and Relatives kindly came with arms full of plants ready for planting!
So, the staff and Residents worked hard to plant and care for the flowers and fruit plants, which are now beginning to see some progress with lots of colour in the garden.
One Resident said, “It’s nice to sit in the garden and see all the colour and watch the bees.”
Home Manager, Craig Hardman, remarked, “The Residents enjoyed planting their own seeds and watching the garden grow. What a lovely activity and huge thank you to everyone who helped”
