Tameside Residents make colourful springtime craftsResidents at HC-One’s Yew Trees care home in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester have been taking part in lots of bright and colourful arts and crafts sessions to say hello to the warmer weather.

They have enjoyed having several projects at once on the go, including detailed pebble painting as well as crafting and painting ceramic vases. But their favourite project was making beautiful suncatchers just in time for the sunshine to make an appearance.

One Resident commented: “The suncatchers look lovely. They were so fun to paint.”

The Residents have since hung their suncatchers in windows throughout the home and are looking forward to picking some flowers to display in their colourful vases.

Yew Trees Wellbeing Coordinator, Lynda Bulley, said: “The Residents love the arts and crafts club so much. Everything they make is going on display.”
