Teddy the dog visits Derby care homeResidents enjoyed a visit from a furry friend this week at HC-One’s Shelton Lock care home in Shelton Lock, Derbyshire.

Home Administrator Michelle brought Teddy in to cheer up the Residents during this cold winter’s week.

One Resident commented: “Seeing Teddy was great. He really brightened my day.”

Being around a dog can make a massive difference in mood so when Teddy came to visit, there were smiles and laughter all around as he approached Residents for a pat on the head.

But there’s only so much excitement little Teddy can take and by afternoon time he can be found in the offices having a little sleep.

Shelton Lock Home Manager, Nicola Millar, said: “Having pets from time to time really does improve the home and gives pleasure to all our Residents.”
