This month at
Cedar House in Harefield, which provides nursing and nursing dementia care, Residents have been celebrating the 10-year anniversary of HC-One with a big bake off.
Cedar House Residents have enjoyed making some cakes and helped with a special HC-One birthday cake.
Residents had a great time with the preparation of the cake and were delighted with the finished result. Before it started Residents had discussed a theme for the cake, which the result was bed theme. Everybody was very much excited to try their creation.
This activity was enjoyed by the Residents, it allowed them to get creative with what they wanted to do with the cake. John, a Resident at Cedar House said, “It looks great, I can’t wait to have a slice” while another aid “I liked helping make the cake and coming up with the design”.
Ella, the Wellbeing Coordinator said, “I really enjoyed helping out with the cake, they are so creative!”
