Stockton-on-Tees Council kindly offered financial support to HC-One’s Victoria House care home in Stockton-on-Tees throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Using the money allocated from the infection control fund, a decision was made to buy a ‘tiny tablet’ for the home. The tiny tablet arrived at the beginning of July 2021 and the team say that it is not so much tiny as table sized!
The tablet has a host of wonderful apps, but best of all staff can now assist Residents with a skype call with family members and leave Residents with their Relative rather than holding onto the iPad.
The team believe this is great for privacy and will enable Residents to keep in touch with their Relatives more frequently.
