The Hilperton Recorders very kindly came to
The Westbury residential and nursing care home, in Wiltshire, on 14th December to play to the Residents.
The group played in the garden and the Residents watched and listened in the lounge and some watched from their bedroom windows. All the Residents that watched really enjoyed the show and were very pleased to have entertainment again.
Some tucked into mince pies, sherry, baileys, coffee and tea. One of the Residents commented, “Thank you it was very nice. Really enjoyed it.”
One of the players was a Resident’s daughter which made it special.
Jacqui Evans, Wellbeing Coordinator, commented, “Although the entertainers were in the garden, the Residents enjoyed the experience, all be it from the lounge wrapped up warm.”
