Christmas has come early for the Residents at
Silverwood, residential, nursing and dementia care home in Nottingham.
This Christmas the care home have made their very own winter wonderland to bring joy to the Residents and local community.
It’s been an amazing project that brought people in from all over Nottingham to get a feeling as to what Silverwood is about.
Some of the local schools in the area have along to see Santa and spend time with the amazing Silverwood team.
Free hot drinks and mince pies were offered to everyone and a huge £320 towards the social fund.
Councillor David Grindell came along to the care home and said, “What you have achieved is magical!”
Debra Meynell, Care Home Manager, said, “The Residents and everyone in the local community have had a great time visiting our home and getting in the Christmas spirit.”
