A Resident has enjoyed celebrating her massive 97th birthday at HC-One’s Acacia care home in Sherwood.
Margaret was thrilled when her two nieces came to visit her through the window for a very special birthday surprise.
The three ladies chatted and laughed before Margaret was presented with her birthday present – a giant cuddly unicorn.
Margaret said: “What a lovely surprise to see them! And I love my unicorn – it’s so soft.”
Margaret is the oldest Resident at Acacia but became the life of the party when Colleagues organised a sing-a-long for her with all the other Residents.
When asked what keeps her young, Margaret replied: “Music and a cup of tea is the best tonic!”
