Residents at HC-One’s Elmwood House in Boston enjoyed a fun filled day on January 18th and the home documented what it was like in a day in the life of an Elmwood Residents.
On 18th January, Residents enjoyed lots of one to ones. Residents went walking around the grounds to see the duck pond with Colleagues and had a little chat along the way. Even Resident Allen was sitting outside in the fresh air enjoying his afternoon cigar, making the most of the good weather and enjoying a past time.
The afternoon was just a busy playing 'Bingo' with lots of prizes up for grabs for the Residents to win. The bingo has now become a weekly social event and really helps the Residents engage with others in a social setting.
Residents look forward to bingo every Monday now and are excited for the spring and summer months so they can enjoy the garden and the duck pond as much as they would like.
