A second Christmas at Hinckley care homeResidents decided one festive day wasn’t enough and are celebrating a second Christmas to cure the January blues at HC-One’s Hinckley Park in Leicestershire.

Since they are unable to go anywhere due to the coronavirus pandemic, they decided that they may as well have twice as many festivities.

While they didn’t go so far as putting the full-size Christmas trees back up, Colleagues did put up small tabletop trees and filled bowls with plenty of chocolates for Residents to treat themselves to.

And, of course, Residents were treated to another full Christmas dinner, complete with pigs in blankets.

But two Christmases just wasn’t enough for some Residents as one commented: “We need to do Christmas once a month!”

Residents spent the rest of the day playing party games and listening to Christmas music with a couple of glasses of Bailey’s and sherry.

Everyone had a great day and appreciated another day of Christmas fun during a difficult time.
