One Resident at HC-One’s Sandon care home in Mossley, Greater Manchester received a very special delivery today from her Great Granddaughter.
Madge was thrilled when Colleagues presented her with a special card made by her Great Granddaughter as well as two lovely pictures she had coloured in.
She also received letters and heart-warming family photos.
Madge commented: “It’s always lovely to receive letters from the family. It really brightens my day.”
The special delivery comes at a time when Residents cannot see their families as much as they would like and contact is limited to window visits, phone calls and virtual video chats.
The lovely drawings and letters cheered up not only Madge, but everyone at Sandon care home as they saw the glee on her face.
