A spot of gardening for Wigan care home ResidentsResidents at Westwood Lodge nursing home, just outside of Wigan, have been taking part in a spot of gardening and making the most of the lovely weather.

The staff and Residents at the home have been working hard to renew all plants in the outdoor garden.

There is still a little bit of work to be finished, but the garden is looking brilliant ready for the first outdoor entertainment in July.

One Resident in particular, Jean Kindley loves gardening and has chosen some rose trees in memory of her daughter and husband.

Chloe Webb, Wellbeing Coordinator, said, “Residents have thoroughly enjoyed sitting out in the sunshine and working hard in the garden.”
