Two homes have reconnected online for an Irish-themed Zoom party at HC-One’s Avonpark care village in Winsley Hill, Limpley Stoke.
Residents at Alexander Heights and Fountain Place care homes were able to spend time with one another once again through the online video chatting platform.
Before the call, Residents had been spending their time making arts and crafts to decorate their homes with Irish flags, shamrocks and even pots of gold in order to battle out a competition for best-dressed home.
Once the party began, laughter filled both homes and the drinks started flowing.
Residents enjoyed sipping on tipples of Irish Cream or a cold glass of Guinness to wash down an incredible Irish-themed cake made by Avonpark’s Head Chef, Claire.
One Resident simply commented: “Such an uplifting event in these hard times.”
The Residents of Alexander Heights and Fountain place had an incredible day spending time with each other once again, and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of singing and dancing with each other via Zoom.
