An afternoon of abstract painting at York care homeResidents have enjoyed getting messy and making wonderful Picasso-inspired paintings at HC-One’s Mossdale Residence care home in Burnholme, York.

Residents used plenty of colour applied to either paper or bubbling foam to create their intriguing masterpieces. With splashes of lovely greens, reds and yellows, everyone enjoyed a very colourful afternoon.

One Resident commented: “It’s lots of fun! Great shapes and colours and it’s nice to get messy.”

Their works of art will be proudly displayed throughout the home for everyone to admire.

Mossdale Residence Wellbeing Coordinator, Alyssa Catholdi, said: “We loved seeing the Residents enjoying themselves and creating artwork they were proud of.”
