An afternoon of karaoke at Manchester care homeResidents and Colleagues have enjoyed an afternoon of socialising and karaoke at HC-One’s Barton Brook care home in Eccles, Salford.

February marked the month where Residents and Colleagues could resume their usual meetings to organise their activities and celebrations for the coming months. The meetings are a great way to bring everyone together to share ideas and find out how Colleagues can continue and further improve on the excellent care and support they offer.

Unfortunately, The Residents’ families could not attend due to lockdown restrictions but Residents made sure their voice was heard as they discussed their favourite activities as well as any fun new suggestions that they would like to take part in.

After the discussion, there was plenty of fun to be had as Colleagues organised an afternoon of karaoke.

Everyone was singing along and putting in their song requests. Valerie, a Resident at Barton Brook, enjoyed singing along to her favourite Abba tunes, while Brian was enjoying a bit of Tom Jones.

The karaoke session lifted the atmosphere throughout the home and Residents are hoping to join in again very soon.
